The Forgotten Warehouse's

During the holidays I went to a Warehouse within Stanley that seems to be deserted and has been for quite some time. I took a large amount of photos as you would be able to see below as I was interested in the various different textures that were within the place as a lot of stuff had rotten, been worn down, deteriorating. Metal had began to rust and the buildings began to rust as shown within my photography. I believe that this links to my project because it is a prospect that a lot of people are scared of, loneliness, being left alone to rot. Also people find this quite scary as it can link to war and destruction as people are scared of the prospect of war as they don't want it to happen as things can then become destroyed. I then began to look through this prospect as I used props such as a Gas Mask and a grenade as this links to war. The mask relates to the artist David Ho as his work uses masks. This photography also relates to it as a lot of his work is metallic and dark as so is this photography and his work is about deteriorating just like this photography.
