David Ho

David Ho was born in New Jersey and moved away to Taiwan with his family when he was a child and when he was a teenager he moved back to America to California. Ho has a Bachelor degree in Art History and Fine Arts. David Ho has created numerous digital art pieces which are recognised all over the globe. This artists work is imaginative and scary.

Creep Machine

This is an image of a piece by David Ho. This relates to my project because my project is based on fear. I believe that this piece is asking society 'who are we?' as it is almost as if people put a mask on but inside they are empty and lonely. This links to my project as a lot of people are afraid to be alone. I like the colours which are used within this piece as it is very dark and grim. The face is almost ghost like. I could use this within my project as I could explore the idea of whether we put a mask on to cover up how we are feeling inside.

The Padacia

This is another piece by David Ho which I really like. This relates to my project of fear because I believe that within this piece it is rather about the fear of Death as it shows someone who has been hit by an error and is disintegrating away from the earth. I also think that it could be considered as a metaphor of fear of being a nobody as it shows that they are disintegrating so it could be that they are losing there life as it is slowly dying. I like the colour scheme again within this piece as it is very dark and raw as it is mainly black and browns which are like dirt. I will use this within my project as I will explore the fear of loneliness.
